Welcome to Jack & Blake’s Wedding
Dear friends and family,
We are beyond excited to invite you to our wedding! This site will be the ‘one-stop-shop’ for all of the information you need to make our special day, well, even more special. Please check back periodically for updates!
The Basics…
-
The ceremony is scheduled for May 27, 2027. We hope to see you all next year!
-
The wedding will be held at the Faro Blanco Resort in Marathon, Florida.
Weather permitting, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outdoors on the beautiful resort lawns!
No need to worry about sand - all the planned activities will take place on paved or grassy surfaces.
-
The official dress code is: “Wear whatever you want, but remember this is a wedding.”
But what does that really mean? Here are all the dirty details:
First and foremost, wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident!
If opting for pants over a dress or skirt, please wear long pants or capris.
Please do not wear flip-flops. Close-toed shoes or nice sandals are a-okay! The ceremony will be on a grassy surface, so please keep that in mind as you make your footwear selection.
If possible, look for pastel, spring and summery colors! Subtle patterns are okay, but try to avoid any patterns that are too bold and might not read well on camera. Please do not wear all black or white.
Think “Yacht Club Casual” - we recommend sundresses and/or slacks with a light-weight polo, buttoned shirt, or blouse. Remember, these are not the only options: please wear something you like and will be comfortable in!
-
Coming soon!
We are planning to send out formal invitations by the end of 2026, and would like responses by March 1, 2027.
Our celebration will be RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. Please note that, although we love your little ones, this is an adults-only celebration. Thank you for your understanding!
-
We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you silence and put away phones and other devices for the duration of the ceremony.
We will have a professional photographer to capture memories of the celebration!

Recommended LodgingYou are not required to stay on the resort property to attend! However, it is the most convenient location. Here are those hotel options:
Faro Blanco Resort Marathon Florida Keys, Curio by Hilton: 1996 Overseas Hwy, Marathon, Florida 33050 (this is the ceremony venue!)
Courtyard Faro Blanco Resort: 2146 Overseas Hwy, Marathon, Florida 33050 (this is the reception venue, and where we will be staying!)
There are many more hotel options across Marathon, Key Largo, and Key West. Please feel free to stay on another one of the Keys’ beautiful islands—we just ask that you keep travel time in mind for our celebration, and safety in mind when you depart!
Travel Date RecommendationsThe wedding ceremony and reception will take place on Thursday, May 27, 2027.
We recommend that you plan to arrive on May 26, at the latest, to ensure your timely arrival for the festivities and for a small buffer in case of travel delays. The wedding will take place in the afternoon and evening, so please plan to depart no earlier than May 28.
Parking & Venue TransportationThere is parking available at both hotels on the resort property. The reception will be held just a short walk from the ceremony, but for any guests with mobility concerns there will be a shuttle between the two locations.
Reception Details
Check here for information about our reception! More information to come!
-
Appetizers will be served at the cocktail hour, and will include buffalo cauliflower bites, spinach and feta phyllo rolls, and burrata crostini with tropical fruit salsa.
The menu will be primarily vegetarian, with vegan and gluten-free options! The main course will be served buffet-style. Some of the tasty options you have to look forward to include a pasta bar, tempura fried tofu, and key lime pie!
-
Because this will be a small wedding, we would like to give anyone interested an opportunity to share a small reflection. When you RSVP, please indicate if you would like to do so!
-
No need to pull out your pennies and ones! We’ll have an open bar for the reception. Obviously.
Just… try to control yourselves…
Gifts
We know that a destination wedding is expensive for guests (though hopefully not much more expensive, and way cooler, for those who would have to travel anyway). With that in mind, the gift we want most from each of you is your presence on our special day!
With that being said, if you are inclined to give more, we greatly appreciate your generosity! Here is what we would like most of all:
A Small Personal Gift
1
No stand-mixers or frying pans here! We are flying, after all…
We would love a small, personal gift that you carefully select, that reminds you of us or your relationship to us!
The Honeymoon Fund
2
We would also greatly appreciate a cash or check contribution to our ‘Honeymoon Fund.’
No amount is too small… or too large!
The Schedule
As the date approaches, we will post a schedule of events here, including information about the rehearsal dinner, the day-of, and the morning after!
